Welcome!

We are a family of friends who is seeking God's glory. It would be our privilege to worship with you and make much of the great name of Jesus. When you worship with us, we pray that you will experience God's Love, Grace, and Hope. We believe our "People over Programs" approach will provide the support structure to help aid you as you walk the Christian life.

Children's Ministry

The Gospel has a message for everyone, of every age, and in every language. Exposing your child to the Lord's path when they are young gives them guidance, hope and strength that lasts a lifetime.  

We welcome children of all ages to join us for Sunday School and morning worship! We offer Sunday School classes for preschoolers, elementary aged students, tweens, and teens.


For the 10:15 worship service, West Hills offers a preschool children's fellowship program for the sermon portion of the service (about the last half hour). There is also an elementary aged children's fellowship program during the service, except on the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday). Infant and toddler nursery is offered for the entire service.


Safety and security for every child is our utmost priority at West Hills! Visitors will be asked to register their children before the service, and we have a security person stationed downstairs in the children's wing for the duration of the service.

Solid Rock Youth Group

Youth is a unique period of life, one filled with exploration, discovery, excitement and fulfillment. The Solid Rock Youth Group  provides a nurturing, loving environment for young people exploring the world.  It is a safe place where faith guides exploration and self-discovery. Our goal is to bring Christ to our youth, through Bible Lessons, crafts, songs, object lessons and  games.
                     

Our Leadership

Pastor  Anthony"Tony" and Kristen Durnell 
Pastor Anthony Durnell graduated from Liberty University with a Masters of Divinity in Christian Apologetics. He has served at West Hills Baptist since 2013. Aside from being Senior Pastor, he has held positions as Deacon and Youth Pastor. He and his wife Kristen have been married since 2004 and have three children together, Jonah, Cadence, and Evie. Pastor Durnell has a heart for the local New Testament Church and a desire to see the truth of God's word go out into all the world.
